Oscilloscope Music Display Unit (in progress)

I volunteer at Lowell Makes, a local non-profit MakerSpace, as an Electronics Co-captain. We had a couple of old oscilloscope units lying around and we decided to use them as scope music display units. Oscilloscope music is a music file specifically designed to be displayed on a regular oscilloscope. The music is written in a special (free!) software such that the left and right audio channels are connected to two channels of a scope in X-Y mode. Then it acts like a musical etch-a-sketch and produces audio-visual patterns. We used the audio-files made by Jerobeam Fenderson. I got an audio-player board online and still need to 3D print an enclosure for the board and connectors. I will update this post when I complete this project.
